About Us
Our Story
Like many of God’s stories, ours begins with prayer. Several people in Kuwait, largely unaware of one another, began praying that God would start a new church community here, a church firmly founded on the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Some of those people communicated this prayer to friends from established churches in the UAE who shared the desire to see God begin a new work in Kuwait.
That common desire initially led to a monthly worship gathering in January of 2019. That gathering would grow as more people became excited about the possibility of a new gospel centered church in Kuwait. It was clear, God was working and a church community was forming. Blaine Boyd and Mitchell Cooper were appointed founding elders to lead the new church plant and began the process of relocating to Kuwait in the summer of that year.
There were several delaying complications along the way, most notably the Covid-19 pandemic, but God has been faithful in every step. Through Zoom Bible studies and WhatsApp prayer meetings, God continued to bring a people around the gospel and bind us together as a family by the Spirit. Having now joined with one another in a commitment to pursue knowing Christ and making him know, we began publicly gathering on December 3, 2021.
Anticipating more and more grace to come!
Core Commitments
Gospel Centrality
The gospel of Jesus Christ is at the heart of who we are and all we do. It is the story of Jesus’s life, death, resurrection, and forthcoming return. This good news not only saves, but sanctifies His people. We never graduate from the gospel. It is the core truth of the whole Christian life.
Biblical Sufficiency
God’s Word is true and powerful, it gives life. He has given us His Word. We call it the Bible. It is by this Word that we know God, become wise for salvation through Jesus Christ, and grow in righteousness. Therefore, we rely on the Bible and let it guide us in all things faith and life.
Family Diversity
The thing that unites us as believers is not our race, our passport, our status, or any other worldly distinction. It is Jesus Christ. We are all equally one in Him. This is a powerful gospel reality, and one we want to reflect. Therefore, we strive to welcome all into our faith family.
Engaged Community
God has gifted all Christians for some ministry regardless of vocation. And a church is healthiest when all its members are engaged in ministry, not just the leaders. Therefore, as a community we all share in the ministry of discipling one another and loving our neighbors.
Kingdom Generosity
The gospel calls us to a life of generosity, individually and corporately. As a community, we take seriously this responsibility and are committed to sharing our corporate resources to equip leaders, plant new churches, and generally invest to see the kingdom advance near and far.

Leadership
The Bible instructs that Christ’s church is to be led by qualified men exercising humble servant leadership. These men are called elders and they have the primary responsibility of teaching the Word of God and caring for the church. (1 Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:5-9, 1 Peter 5:1-4, Acts 20:28-35)
